HR Direct

HR Direct is the first point of HR contact for DNV GL employees and managers across Europe. We support colleagues via email and phone. HR Direct is split into 4 regional teams covering most of the countries in Europe. In addition, our Intranet Services team (being a part of HR Direct) supports intranet publication processes.

HR Office

HR Office supports HR processes from on- to offboarding including HR administration and system maintenance connected to employment, benefits & compensation management as well as internal trainings coordination.

Payroll Section is split into 2 teams: European Payroll and Advisory and Payroll Poland.
Payroll team is mainly responsible for day-to-day quality service within Payroll according to legal and company requirements, including:

  • Collecting, analyzing and managing the data flow between the company an payroll vendor (Polish payroll performed fully in-house),
  • Managing full employee lifecycle (new hire, transfer, termination),
  • Analyzing country-specific allowances and absences,
  • Evaluating current systems, developing and recommending policies and procedures.

Service Delivery Management

Service Delivery Management team is responsible for global support of GSS HR operations, including performance reporting & analytics, project management, continuous improvement & automation of processes.

GSS Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Section drives all recruitment activities within DNV GL Business Areas in more than 26 countries, mostly Europe.
Our professionals are actively identifying talents across regions, conducting and setting up interviews, market intelligence as well as collaborating with local agencies and partnering with Managers to support growing business needs.

Global Service Desk

GSD is a first line of defence for technical support for DNV GL employees across the globe. If something is not working on DNV GL computer, it is practically certain that the employees will contact GSD Team either via telephone or email.

HR IT Process Support

HR IT Process Support team is the first line of support regarding HR applications or organizational setup within DNV GL. The team is the bridge between the HR and IT ensuring proper collaboration.

Finance Applications Services

Daily Operations team is responsible for stable operations in Oracle Finance.
Service Requests team supports DNV GL employees with regards to our Finance systems and works on automation with robots, web forms and new programs.
Service Excellence team supports Super Users with network and knowledge base as well as helps with defining key processes in Finance Applications.

Maritime Applications Support

Maritime Applications Support is the 2nd line of support for both internal and external customers when it comes to Maritime applications. Their global virtual team is split into teams located in Oslo, Gdynia and Shanghai. Maritime Applications Support Team   works closely with software development team, other IT teams and business areas to conduct testing and adjustments of our tools against source system and platform upgrades.

Data Centre Services

The Data Centre Services team provides support in monitoring, development and operations for both cloud-based and on-premise solutions. In addition, we perform monthly maintenance with security patching and maintain infrastructure, server hardware as well as data backup and restore. The team is located in Gdynia, provides support globally, and consists of different roles.

Integration, MDM and RPA

Our team is responsible for developing and operating of Hybrid Integration Platform, Masterdata Managament, as well as introducing and maintaining Robotics Process Automation.
We integrate DNV GL systems, take care about relevancy and consistency of the Company customers’ data and support automation of the business processes.

Business Intelligence Competency Centre

The team develops reports, dashboard and data warehouse to create business value from company data, as well as supports (2nd and 3rd line) and maintains multiple data warehouse systems and reporting services (Vadis).

Accounts Receivable

Accounts Receivable Section is split into four teams: Cash Allocation Team, AR Regional Teams, Cash Management and Master Data Management.
AR Team is responsible for allocating incoming and outgoing cash and reconciling bank statements, account reconciliations & reporting, queries management, customer and supplier accounts, monitoring and controlling automated Group Cash Pooling.

Accounts Payable

Accounts Payable section is a team of experts responsible for processing invoices, Travels and Expenses, weekly payment of vendors and employees, reconciling Accounts Payable statements, subledger to general ledger and other Month end close activities. We also cooperate closely with other GSS Finance teams.

Record to Report

Record to Report Section works within two areas: R2R Regional Teams, Intercompany Team.
R2R Regional Teams service European DNV GL countries mainly within GL accounting and reporting, BS account reconciliations, VAT reporting, financial analysis, internal and external audits.
Intercompany Team is responsible for both intercompany reconciliations, as well as reconciling issues solving and reporting. Whole R2R Team is engaged in process standardization, automation and robotics.
